MEET ANGELICA,
your personal trainer
Here’s the thing nobody tells you: You can love fitness and still struggle.
I grew up moving my body—karate as a kid, soccer through high school and college, Capoeira as a young adult. I've always loved movement. But when corporate life hit? I threw myself into the gym without a clue what I was doing.
So I hired a trainer. A few months in, he said, ”You should be a trainer.”
Me? Really?
That's where it all started. I got my certifications, became obsessed with everything fitness, and even challenged myself to compete in a bikini bodybuilding competition. Didn't win. Didn't even place top 10. But damn, I felt accomplished.
Then life happened.
THE REAL STORY
Four jobs. Stress through the roof. I tried competing again but couldn't do it—it was just one more thing on my plate. So I let it go... and gained 20-30 pounds. The stress and guilt consumed me. I felt like a failure—not just for not competing, but for letting life overwhelm me.
Have you been there? Because I have. More than once.
After a year of that nonsense, I said enough. I took my own advice—the same stuff I was teaching my clients—and got back on track.
Here's what I learned: I've been on both extremes. Extreme dieting. Extreme not-giving-a-crap. And now? I'm finally in the healthy middle. I feel confident in my body and have a healthier relationship with both the gym and food.
That's exactly what I want for you.
