1:1 Personal Training That Actually Fits Your Life
Let’s Crush it Together!
Here’s what you’re not getting: cookie-cutter workouts, a coach who ghosts you between sessions, or someone who makes you feel like an idiot for not knowing the difference between a deadlift and a squat.
Here’s what you ARE getting: a customized strength program built around your body, your schedule, and your actual goals. Plus a coach who answers your 11pm “wait, is this normal?” texts without judgment.
What Makes This Different
Most personal training falls into two camps: the drill sergeant who yells motivational quotes while you’re dying, or the checkbox-checker who’s already thinking about their next client while you’re mid-set.
This isn't that.
I’m Gelli—ISSA-certified trainer, nutrition coach, and the person who will genuinely celebrate when you finally nail that form you've been working on. I work with women in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens who are tired of fitness programs that treat them like identical robots.
REAL TALK: You get me for your sessions—not handed off to whoever’s available. Your program is designed specifically for YOUR body, not copy-pasted from a template. And yes, you can absolutely still eat tacos and see results. I have the same nutritionist who told me that, and she was right.
THE ACTUAL PROGRAM
-
We talk about your fitness history, what's worked, what hasn't, and what you're actually hoping to achieve. Not a generic questionnaire—an actual conversation.
-
I design around the equipment you have access to—whether that's Equinox, your building gym, or that scrappy Brooklyn spot with the good energy.
-
Need to switch to virtual some weeks because work got crazy? We do that. Flexibility isn't a nice-to-have; it's built in.
-
Track workouts, log progress, and message me when you're confused about literally anything.
-
Monthly adjustments ensure we're always working toward your goals. No plateaus, no stale routines.
TRAINING LOCATIONS: I work with clients at gyms throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Don't have a gym membership? I can recommend options that fit your budget and location.

WHO THIS WORKS FOR
You're probably a good fit if you want someone who can actually explain WHY you're doing something, not just bark "three more reps!" at you. You value having a coach who knows your name, your goals, and which knee is the cranky one.
You’re DEFINITELY a good fit if…
You want to lift weights but don't know where to start (or you started and got overwhelmed)
You've tried the big-box gym trainer thing and felt like a number
You need someone who'll actually adjust your program when life gets chaotic
You're in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens and want in-person sessions
You're ready to invest in yourself without the guilt trip
You're probably NOT a good fit if you need someone to motivate you through shame or tough love. That's not my style, and honestly, it doesn't work long-term anyway.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
-

Book a free 15-minute call.
We’ll talk about your goals, I’ll explain how I work, and we’ll see if we’re a good match. Zero pressure, zero sales pitch.
-

If we move forward: we schedule a strategy consult.
This call usually takes about 45-min and I’ll assess your movement patterns, learn about your body’s quirks, and start designing your program.
-

Then we train at your gym.
In-person sessions at your gym, or virtual if that works better for your schedule. You’ll have the Valiosa App with your full program, progress tracking, and direct access to me between sessions.
-

As you progress: your program evolves.
Monthly check-ins ensure we’re hitting your goals and adjusting for what’s working (and what’s not).
